In Vanse you find Trunken - which is an authentic American department store. Here you can buy everything from ostrich skirts and cowboy equipment to goodies and great 50's dresses. If you get hungry after the shopping session you can take a trip across the street to Larsen`s Bakery, where you get a menu packed with American food, and the restaurant is decorated like an American diner with beautiful pastel colors and contemporary interiors. Every summer, the American Festival is held here in Vanse. A very popular event that takes place "Last week in June". Street parade, amusement park, street dance, food competitions, musical events and much more.
